what engine porting

The systems, for cars, that I have been exposed to were either wet or dry kits. Wet kits use an extra solenoid.valve and a "y" type nozzle. Run a fuel supply from the fuel rail to the "fuel" solenoid/valve, from there to the indirect side of the nozzle. The nitrous runs the same way; from the bottle to the nitrous solenoid/valve, from there to the direct side of the nozzle. There is different sized jets that go between the supply hoses and nozzle, like carb jets, they have different sized holes through them to regulate flow. My system was NOS brand, they have a tech line that you can call for starting points on sizes according to the amount of power you wanted to gain. I adjusted to fuel jet size based on reading from my wide band A/F gauge.

i have a modded blaster that i do any type of riding with. It has a 360 main jet and i am having the engine ported. what porting job should i have done?

sounds to me like a flotek aggressive trail port would fit your riding nicely!

N20 has been done to death on 2 strokes. You want a wet kit. A dry kit is the worst on a smoker. Anymore then a 20 shot on a blaster would be just askin for failure. You would prolly lift the head, break the cylinder, or possibly bend a rod.

a kor aggressive trail port would really wake it up, u will find people are partial to their builders, obviously I'm going to tell u ken oconnor because I have had great success with I'm and he's done 3 of my engines, great guy to talk to and has even better pricing. but the choice is solely urs and flotek or oconnor are probably the best in the business, either one is a great choice.

Couldn't have said it better myself have some green buddy.

flotek really knows hows to squeeze the last few hp out of a 2 stroke cylinder. there are things in there others are missing when doing the porting. but i wont go into details and give out every secret. ;)
