Hey fellas new to the sight just picked up this blaster it went from a piece of crap to this in less than 5days hope you guys like it. Im going to ride around like this for a bit untill the motor needs a rebuild then im going to get real crazy with it with alot of fab work +3swingarm, custom a arms?? grab bar, front bumper, banshee brakes rear axle, shaved fenders. New paint with a better air brush job and powder coat everyting insted of the rattle can job. also if i can find a good motor for a swap i just mite do that too. I have alot of time on my hands so all this i want to do is very possible.

what would the exhaust wrap do? keep the exhaust temps too high?? I had the exhaust wraped on my cr125 for a wile didnt seem to effect it but that was water cooled.

the pipe being wrapped holds in heat, a 2 stroke pipe is complex piece, wrapping it and it holding in the heat will change its scavaging effects

Get rid of the exhaust wrap, no two stroke should have that.

if your going to wrap anything its ok to wrap the silencer and the pipe just before it. that will keep the pipe warm so the exhaust gasses flow freely.. when the exhaust cools down it also slows down.. hence why cat back exhaust are bigger diamiter on cars

the scavaging effect works on sound waves too. by putting the wrap around the pipe, you can change the way the sound waves bounce off the wall of the exhaust.
