vin on blasters

hey guys im helpin my friend get a blaster and i found on that doesnt have a title and i know thats not a big deal but the guy is kinda odd and is sayin that you should get the vin checked to make sure its not stolen so i called him and this is the vin he gave me....G109E-007211......does that sound right?

Doesnt sound right to me... That looks like the numbers that are stamped on the engine case near the carb..

The VIN number is located on the bottom frame rail on the driverside of the quad. It does not have a DASH in it, and is longer than 11 numbers.

like 27 characters long and a combination of letters and numbers. its located just behind the shift lever stamped into the bottom tube of the frame. if its ground off, its stolen.

mines a 89 and theres no vin by the shift lever. theres a vin sticker on the upper front left main tube near the hood.

arrange a time to go look at the bike. take a local police officer with you when you do and have him wait around the corner till he see's you looking a tthe bike then walk up. another theif busted.
