Video of my Blaster idling kinda funny...

So I took her on a quick spin opened her up nice in wide :-P Then I parked her threw it in neutral and it started idling kinda weird. Is this normal? Its a 2006 I cleaned carb 1 week ago, new plug, new exhaust gasket, idle screw is about 1.5-2.5 turns out. After jumping back on it for a while it was idling fine.

Float level must be between 20 - 21.5 mm

Idle adjusting.

Start with air screw 1.5 turns out.

Set idle screw so that it has some sort of idle. With TORS it is the big screw under seat on top of unit. With no TORS is is the brass screw midway down carb body.

Warm up motor and then set idle screw for a faster idle, 2000rpm+

Adjust air screw either way to get the fastest idle.

Adjust air screw a little at a time leaving 10 secs or until the motor to responds.

Re adjust idle screw for desired idle .

The carby slide has to be lifted to be able to set the idle correcty to let the needle have a little say in the correct AFR.

OK, someone told me to leave the tors adjusting to set on a low to normal idle, but your saying crank it up until the idle is high?? Whats the diff between letting it idle low and idle high.

They speak with forked tongue, I have been doing it the way I explained for over 55 years and it has always worked for me.

The carby slide has to be lifted to be able to set the idle correcty to let the needle have a little say in the correct AFR.

The manual explains it.
