VForce2 reeds

I don't think you can get them hardly anywhere anymore. some say vf2's are slightly better. others say there is no loss compared to vf3's. The only bad thing is when you need replacement reeds will be harder to find also. You don't really gain hp just the initial throttle response which is still helpful.

unstock's right. you don't really gain hp w/ the reed cage. you'll notice better throttle response, but really, you only NEED one if you're motor needs to flow more charge than the reeds you're running will allow.
if you run a bigger carb, port the cylinder, or run w/o the airbox lid, you'll need to upgrade your reed cage.
otherwise, don't worry too much about it.

Any upgrade is a good mod but one mod alone will not get you much..
You have to tie a few mods together for it to be worth it..
Like air filter, mill the head, lighten flywheel, portwork... then you start to notice performance gains.
I scored me a VF2 setup for $35, I used the VF3 reed pedals.. same ones!
