velocity tube

hey guys ive been researching for days and i cant figure out what demension tubing i need to fit a 33mm carb and eliminate the air box.please help if you know

I thought it was 2.5" my 30 is 2" and I thought the 34's were 2.5 also.

Are you looking for a length? If so idk. The blaster engine was made without a velocity tube so one is not suggested. Some guys have played around with them and I think they all decided not to run one. A velocity tube will really change how a engine runs and I think you would have to spend alot of time on it, If it would even work.

If you are runing a pod filter you will prolly need to run one, I'm thinking around 6in. I was thinking that yb200 tryied not running one and was having problems and put one on and ran like a champ.

i was running a pod with no tube no bottom end at all. i actualy ran some old exhaust pipe 2" i believe has a bend and goes under my fender but inside the frame i'll take a pic of it some time tomorrow.

hey i used 2-1/4" tubing from my intercooler kit it worked great on my 33mm pwk

im using a rubber tube adapter and slide some rubber tube to my filter ill take some pics tomorrow to

here are some pics of my set up and believe it or not the filter stays fairly clean for the position. still going to fab up a shield for it tho.
