Updated exhaust options on 89 blaster

Wanted to get some input on what options there are for my 89 blaster exhaust system. I picked the bike up with having some custom work done to the exhaust system that just spoos the oil from the pipe to the silencer connection. Looking to revamp with a new boot connection and exhaust with spark arrestor. Do I keep with the OEM parts or are there better options out there, thanks.

If you mean keeping the stock exhaust or going aftermarket than aftermarket options would depend on your riding style and budget. Most silencers will fit right up to the stock expansion chamber.

If you mean what options are out there for a coupler that connects the expansion chamber to the silencer than you should get in touch with forum member Blasterfun484. He sells nice ones for a cheap..

I use those also.. They clamp down nicely and I have yet had any leaks. Pricier than others but sometimes you can find them used for cheap..
