I finally put my reed spacer in tonight and wile I was there I put in a 250 main jet and took the horn off the air box lid, the difference is night and day I don't really know what helped the most but it was like it wasn't my blaster it felt so much better from top to bottom after I played for about 10 or 15 minutes I pulled the plug and it was the same primer black color as the others I have pulled out before I'm not sure if it was the mods of be 50 degrees out tonight but like I said before it was like a different machine

I'm goin to the next time I ride I looked down the edge of the plug were the smoke ring should be and it looked brown but the next time out I'm going to open it up and chop the plug to see but if it matters any it dose smoke from the low to the high revs but I'm goin to chop the plug

Smoke is no indication of jetting, a motor can produce copious amounts of smoke and still be running lean.

Before you plug chop, make sure the float level is correct and the idle is set properly.

Plug chop.

Warm up motor to operating temp.

Fit new B8ES plug, ride through the gears and hold WOT in 5th or 6th gear for 10 seconds, or as long as you can safely.

Switch off the motor and pull in the clutch, roll to a stop.

Take the plug out and replace the old one for the ride home.

Carefully cut the threaded end off the plug to expose the insulator.

There should be a smoke ring of a cardboard or biscuit colour around the insulator.

If it is non existant or a very light colour, you are lean and require a larger main jet.

If it is a lot darker you are rich and may go down a size in main.

I prefer to run a little on the darker side, I may loose a little power but it is worth it for the peace of mind that I won't need a rebuild so soon.

This is a good to go plug.

This one is a little rich, but I would run it, I like to be on the safe side.
