I know i'm not the only one who has switched to a twist throttle.

but there are times i miss the thumb but i don't miss my thumb cramping up
every damn 5 minutes.

what are your thoughts good or bad

i personally like thumb, if you crash you can accidentally grab a handful of thottle when using a twist, also if you wd 40 your throttle and cable, your thumb shouldnt jam up... or maybe youre just weak.

thumb is my fav it works a lot better for jumps but thats what i am used to i used twist like 2 times for drag racing

well when you accidently panic rev and you begin to wheelie this motion forces your wrist down and gives it more throttle and you end up with a bad wreck a painful injury and a hurt pride.

i prefer twist... perhaps because I used to ride more dirtbikes and it just feels natural...

I have a twist throttle on my blaster and i admit it is quit scarry sometimes. But i dont miss the thumb cramps or the freezing thumbs in the winter :)

For those of you who have twist throttles, I have a question.

My friend was trying to convince me NOT to get a twist throttle because he says it will get stuck open if mud and sh*t goes in there. He was totally against twist throttles for my blaster and he doesnt even own a ATV! Idiot. So my question is, are there any problems with it getting stuck? The guys complaining that it hurts their wrist and stuff doesn't bother me. Just wondering if there are any more fabrication failures, like it getting stuck or whatever.

Also, right now im looking into twist throttles and I like the Streamline product because it comes with a stainless steel braided cable. I havent read any first hand experience with this particualr company and Im wondering what are the most durable twist throttles I can buy? And whats the difference between the CR style and the Vortex style?

Someone send me in the right direction because I want to do this once and not worry about it breaking on me. I just got into ATVs after I sold my jacked up YJ so im still trying to read up on info. Thanks guys
