Tusk nerf bar

bolt them to your pegs, attach the front crossover with whichever style mount they provide and install the webbing...go riding

They gave me a new bolt that goes where the motor mount is but the threads r on the flange of the bracket was wondering if that will cause the bolt to shear since the shank is not all the way through.

pics would help us understand ?
but i've never heard of anyone having specific troubles with that ?

I don't think so seeing as how yamaha stock nuts are tack welded at best and hold pretty good.
Sure the brackets are on the right sides?

I have Tusk nerds and the bolt your talking about goes in place of the forward engine mount bolt and make sure you use the spacer included to fill the gap between the mount and motor. if you are using your stock heel guards you will have just enough thread left to bolt them to the foot pegs with the heel guards on. I will post pics when I get off from work in a few.

Sorry so late!! Here are some pics to help, if you didn't already install them.

Here is where you should place the spacer (Crank case side)

If you keep the stock heel guards you have just enough thread to hold them in place
