I just got a new pair of boots, they fit real nice and they have good support. The only problem is they are not very bendy so I have no up and down ankle movement, so this makes it hard to ship. I miss shifts every now and then with these boots on. It pisses me off because i never miss shifts. These boots just don't bend good at all and it makes it really hard to shift. I know there's probably a simple fix for my problem, what do you guys think i should do? I don't want to just have the boots sit ya know.

I just lift up with my leg, from the knee down that seamed to help pretty good when I had a dirtbike and clearance was never an issue. Plus if you have nerfs I would take them off cause there's even less space between the shifter knob and the bar. What 7 said is what I would do first though if your still not happy with it.
That and walking arroud with your boots on in the house for an hour or so a day will somewhat help in loosening up the ankle and top part of the boot a bit just walk like you do with shoes on. But focusing on getting the most amount of movement in that area in every step. does that make sence?

Yeah it does make sense. Thanks man

I agree with the previous posts. Work them boots in a bit and adjust you shifter location. I had to do the same with the last pair of boots I got. They finally loosened up a little over time and the re-located shifter helped a lot. The stiffness of the boot is what helps protect you, so it's a necessary evil you just have to work around.
