for some reason i have lost my gears! i have fist and second and then when i switch into thrid it reves and the KICKS in and then doesnt really feel right and then i dont have 4th thru 6th. Any ideas?

how do i go about finding out if that is the problem or not? My friend had the same problem on his bike (both are 96's) and he did a wheely one day puttin in his yard and when he came down his popped out and ran fine...
if this is my problem how do i fix it? the bike has had a new clutch put in probly 60 or 70 hours ago on the motor,i heard it could be the oil level?i think at teh moment it has motor oil in it so i am thinking i should drain that and put in yama lube?

i would check ur shifter fork but sounds to me its in your clutch somewhere who installed it..i would check over that to make sure it is working the way it should...most chances that its not ur oil.but check it to..when u change it look to see if there is metal shavings in it
60-70 hours on the oil? Oil is cheap, change it more often. I'd look at the star gear on the shift drum. We weld ours to keep from coming loose.
