I have a 2004 blaster that is in very good condition. the only problem is that it is puicking oil from the transmission breather tube!!its been bored out and well takin care of, just dont know what to do with that!!any answers??
It's either overfilled or the engine has an airleak and pushing oil out of the breather tube.
Fill it up with the correct quantity of oil and see if it stops. If not, perform a leakdown test on the engine. If the correct amount of oil doesn't stop the "puking", it will probably fail the leakdown test horribly....

Civic correct me if I'm wrong but he shouldn't even have to to a leak test. If when he starts the quad up out of gear and it starts puking the it would be a leak from the cyl. Now if it does it while riding after a few mins it would be over filled and case psi is pushing it out . Or am I looking at this the wrong way?
It's much easier to drain and refill the transmission with new oil than it is to split cases....
Worth a try to just get the correct amount of transmission fluid in it first and see if that changes anything. If that doesn't, then he should do a leakdown to see how bad the leak is (if it's a leak blowing transmission fluid out of the vent line, it's gotta be pretty bad!).
Not only will he have more information to work with (I lost XX amount of pressure in XX amount of time) but he'll also know how to do a leakdown for when it goes back together
