Hello All,

How should the initial carb adjustment be set for the blaster after removing the tors and installed bypass kit. I am new and rebuilt the entire quad and need help.

How does the new drilled /tapped idle screw work, How does it adjust?

How do you adjust the other screws on the carb? What is the default settings or is it 1.5 turns out from fully seated. Also what might cause hard starting?

1.5 to 2.5 is about right on the air mixture..
you can adjust the slide by the throttle or the top of the carb just raise and lower it to where you want it..
check your reeds...
got a new plug?

ok Thanks, So I know if I play with the adjuster on top of the carb, I can disctate the height of the slider and this should adjust idle. Why did I need to drill a hole and then install a screw. i dont see the purpose of this? How is thi adjusted? The plug is new and 2 carbs have been striped / cleaned and put back together. The reed valves ssems fine /not cracked and I have 2 of them that are identical. I am new to quads so please dont assume I know what I am doing. I removed every nut and bolt right down to the engine and instaleld a new crank as well. my piston is 60 ove ran I have .0025 piton to cyclinder wall play. I did get this to run one time and it ran great with alot of power but would not idle. i now installed the tors elimination kit and need help tweaking,. Thanks
Chuck
