Top end swap????

never head of it being done.... i am guessing it might be really hard to find something that doesn't have a powervalve, let alone something that uses the same bolt pattern and has the same stroke and rod length. i am guessing that with all the machine work required to make something fit, it would be easier to swap a whole motor. but i've never tried so idk
 
don't dt200's have powervalves? i think i know the post your talking about- and i am pretty sure all he did was throw a different piston in out of a 1970 something 2 stroke dirtbike or dual sport bike. it just happened that it had the same size bore as a blaster, so the piston fit the jug, and gladly the wrist pin to piston dome distance was the same.
