well i blew up the top end back in september and am looking in rebuilding the top end of the motor. what i need help with is a rough idea on how much it might cost to bore/hone the jug and maybe polish the cylinder head. any idea?

bore and hone is like 40-50 bucks at most builders and the port and polish is around 150. then you have the cost for your new gasket which is like 30 bucks tops and new piston and rings which will be around 100 depending on what piston you get
go to kenoconnorracing.com he has price lists and he is also one of the most informative machinist i have ever spoken with he did all my work and i loved his customer service.
thanks! this really helps. i dont know the extent of the damage yet, but i do know it will need a new piston. i plan on buying a weisco top end rebuild kit from cheapcycle.com for $147. ive got a feeling it will need to be bored which is why i was asking
well dont buy that kit talk to a builder first and see what they recommend and also you dont know what size to get yet. so pm ken oconner racing - wildcard 2 - flotek they only three guys i would trust with my engine and see what they say
