toggle light switch

anyone know what wires to hook up for just an on/off light switch, no highs, no kill switch.

i know yellow w/ red is power right?

please lmk im trying to test this hid bulb

yellow w/red should be the power supply for the lights.

just ground it to the frame..

i figured it out and hooked it up, it works great but no hids w/o a battery for the initial "power up" they just flickered and i have a 75 watt stator. so you will need a battery of some sort just to turn the lights on then the blaster stator should be able to power them. (i may try this when i get back)

as for the switch,
solid yellow to switch (signal)
black wire off bulb to ground (frame)
yellow w/ red stripe to the other switch spot. (12v power)

ya with HID's you will need a way to get alot of power to them for the initial start up, but after that they run on pretty low wattage, something like 20-30 watts. you could probably get away with running some sort of capacitor inline instead of haveing to rewire you stator to install a battery. But then again no more power than needed you could prolly wire a battery inline, you will just have to charge it every couple of uses.
