Tire Size

What is the biggest (tallest) tire size that I can run on a blaster?? I'd like to run something like a 22 or 23" tire up front. I don't see that being a problem.

What about in the rear?? I've got some stock 21" tires and a set of 20" hole shots. I'd like to go 22+" tires...for ground clearance issues. I realize I'd be sacrificing stability. I also realize that I'd have to change gears (much easier with a chain the changing ring and pinions!!). Advice/recommendations please?!?

I'm running 21's up front w/20's in the rear. I had 22 out back w/no problems. If your running nerf bars I don't think the 23's will work up front. But using it as a crawler you probably dont want nerfs anyways...

No nerfs, no need, IMO.

I actually have two blasters, both the same year. One is being rebuilt but has the stock 21" rears, and the stock fronts...which are also 21" I think??

The one I'm riding has 20" ITP holeshots. They're good for what they're made for but I'm thinking something more agressive like a realtor or something, maybe in the 22 or 23" range if that will fit, and hopefully some 23" tires up front. But your'e saying that once I get much over 21" I'll have to worry about rubbing the stock supports behind the pegs??

I'm gonna do some research on extending the swingarm!

I have 22s front and rear.The only clearance issues I had was the mounts that stick out of the heel guard. I cut mine off.

I'm running 22's up front with no issues and have run 22's outback without issues also.
I run no nerf's or heel guards.
