Right now I'm running the following
.40 over
weisco pistons
fmf gold with power core 2s
stock carbs
oversized rad
billet impellar
14/41 gearing
pro design kit with foam filter
21s in the front
20s in the back

what I am thinking
t5s
28mm carbs
cool head with 20cc domes
13/42 gearing
21in tires in the front
21in tires in the back

Now my issue. I ride with a blaster, 300ex, outlaw,yfz450,lt400,400 ex. None of them can touch the shee once I hit 3rd even in the trails. Once I get in 1st and 2nd they pass me or get right on my ass. My question is if I was to do
the mods would it keep them at bay. The only thing any of them have is pipes.

my question is why are they catching you in 1st and 2nd and you leave them in 3rd. If it was me I would get some different pipes, idk if I would drop lower front and rear on the gearing unless you are haveing alot of trouble with no power climbing and stuff. I have never ran a banshee, but I would think if a blaster can handle 14/40 gearing a banshee should be just as capable.

Basically this is our normal trail trip. We take off the outlaw, lt400 and 450 are ahead of me. In first I spin I shift to second and continue to spin once I hit 3rd the front end comes up and I can go. When I am shifting to 3rd I'm right on their ass. I just want to be faster all the way around and figured going lower gears would give me that added bit to keep them behind me

then lowering the gearing is not gonna help at all, it just gonna make it break loose sooner and have less gear to spin, also adding more power is gonna do the same thing. try running like a 14/38 or 15/40 it will lower you bottom end and make the motor work a little hard on climbs and such but it couple be enough that it will make it less likely to break loose. I'm guessing that you are running hole shots, I would get ride of those for somethng more aggressive. I rode with a guy yesterday with 18 in. razors and they didn't hook worth a sh*t. I will admit they make a good drifting tire though, haha
