this has to be bull

I read it and it's no BS.The only BS part I see is about the air filter. It don,t have to be brand new but not loaded up with dirt.

yup, the other big one they left out is tire inflation. underinflated tires are harder to roll (just let all the air out of your blaster's tires and try to roll it)

and in the winter i still let the car idle for a minute or two before taking it out (partially to warm the inside, and partially to get the oil flowing) when its -10 below with a wind chill close to -25.....................a little warm up isn't going to hurt it

Air filter is BS a clean air filter is going to flow more air than a dirty one. Cars will lose economy over time as rings and valves wear down. In the summer it is ok to get into a car and go, but during the winter you best let it warm up specially if you are a diesel fanatic, Cold old doesn't flow very well and starting and running a cold motor in sub freezing temps is a good way to blow a head gasket, specially if you are driving an older vehicle with a cast block and aluminun heads, or vise versa. As far as running premium fuel, I do and I get about 4-5 more miles to the gallon.

Premium wont increase gas milage imo. Premium doesnt explode more or have a more efficient burn. All premium has is a higher flash point, It's harder it make it detonate. It doesnt push the piston down any harder.

Premium burns more efficiantly an cleaner, by burning more efficiantly all the fuel is properly burned...... If you want to pick up fuel mileage, a high flow ' performance' air filter. Will gain mileage due to the engine not hav ing to work as hard to draw in air, a free flowing ' performance' exhaust will do the same thing since its pushing the exhaust gases faster which aids in the engine working easyer, you won't gain huge gains, but gains none the less, iv picked up 2-3 mpg on several cars, which. Adds up in the long run..... My mazda... 96 200k miles 2.5 24 valve v6 5 speed, k&n drop in filter, an free flowin exhaust... 30mpg highway!

it will if the other stuff has ethanol in it lol.

they also didn't mention HOW you drive , if you are driving around the city all day stop and go , you use a sh*t ton of gas. Highway drievn vehicles use less fuel than if you just drive here and there 7 days a week . Instead of needing a car/truck that gets 50 mpg , how about you just drive less , carpool when you can and take other forms of transit when its convienent for you. for 3 1/2 years I commuted by bus and train to work 5 days a week . I now have a company truck I drive home , and its a diesel which gets more mpg than a comparable gas vehicle . People are always looking to the machine to fix the problem , people need to realize it can only do so much .....

ya but to be honest 30mpg cars are oil companies way of saying Fu and still making money. Y do you think that hybrids haven't taken of faster, they say because the tech isn't there, but GM had a hybrid car back in the early 90's. Even vehicles that burn straight gas, it is possible to get much greater fuel economy then what they do. I will have to see if I can find the article, but I remember reading of a physicist that made a 6 cylinder engine with 300 HP that made 60 miles to the gallon. Also if you have a flexfuel vehicle stay away from e85 unless it is considerably cheaper as you will burn more fuel/mile with e85 than with regular gas.
