This a good deal??

I used to ride Blasters all the time and now I have the opportunity to pick one up again.

My question is, am i getting a good price.

It is a 2003 Blaster with 20 hours of ride time. $1,200.

I am thinking this is a great deal but I never knew what they went for new and what they go for now.

maybe bring a compression tester and test the compression

check:
brakes
tires
chain
leaks
filter
bearings
sprockets

2003 with only 20 hours...seems unlikely to me. I would ask if they mean 20 hours on a rebuild maybe.

Check the front and rear wheel bearings by trying to wiggle the wheels. there should be no movement. Look at the chain too. I just got a Raptor that it had been so long since they lubed the chain, that it was all bound up.

If it is really that low of mileage, there should be almost no wear on the (silver) frame where boots would rub.

well 03+ go for like 1800 around me so i would assume thats a good deal. But make sure you check over it like said above..

well damn i need to come to NC to sell mines. im asking 1500 obo for my 06SE and i have yet to get an offer here.
