Hey all, I am new to this forum and I am 13 years old! I have a 05 Yamaha Blaster and originally it was my brothers who only put like 2 hours on it, but I received it 3 years ago. Before I got it, it just sat in the shed not used for like 5 years straight because my bro got out of the hobby. I made a trade with him, my brand new Ipod touch that is the latest generation which I bought right when it came out, for his Yamaha Blaster. He took the deal LMFAO. So my Blaster is totally stock and I really want to give it some nasty aftermarket upgrades. By the way, my name is John....I:I

Welcome to the '05 club!

Thanks guys and yeah I'll try to get some pics up soon. Also wwholden, originally when I went to see if it would start for the first time in a while the carb was gummed up, it needed a new needle kit I believe it was called and my good buddy got a new set that was to a Banshee, I changed the oil, and spark plug and it started right up.

After riding it for a few hours you may want to think about changing the oil again. Because it may break up any sedimentation or sludge that didn't escape when you drained it the first time. Also do a good wash and oil the air filter.

Welcome to the fourm, don't be afraid to ask anything you need help with! Pics are needed too! :D

Good advice!

Welcome to the forum, I recommend you read pretty much all of the stickies at the top of each of the sections in this forum. It'll cover rules, help, troubleshooting, popular upgrades for each of the major parts groups (engine, body, suspension). As Brandoz28 said, welcome to the sickness.
