i have a 1996 Cadillac Deville with the 4.6 northstar v8. absolutely loved the car. well i was leaving a friends place one morning and bottomed out in his driveway though noting of it well a mile down the road the mesage center told me low oil pressure. well shut the car down toed it home and found my problem i poped a hole in the oil filter swap it all and add oil start going down the road and kept steadily knocking geting worse and worse again stop and towed it home and it has sat in the grove after that. i saw a guy parting out a fiew northstars on ebay and asked how much he would want for just the long block no intake sensers etc. btw a new reman long block is around 3500 on ebay and just to rebuild mine no machine work would be bout 2500. the guy wants 250 for the long block! i hope it all works out. her is some pics of my lac
