I Know there are a few on here but thank a vet today.
I am a Veteran, and a Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life. Regardless of personal political views that is an honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact. My service: US Army March 2000 - Present.
There is nothing glorious or finacial to gain from being in the Military. My house is empty, My vehicle was repoed, and i was forced to file chapter 7. i go payday to payday with change in my pocket. but ill tell you this I Dont Care. I enjoy doing what I do so Americans can live free. i do not want a parade or to be recongnized. i want to do my job and come home.
