Could someone tell me what colors the wires are that I will have to use to hook up my tether. And also where they come from. Thanks alot I really appreciate it. Kinda confused... Not very good with wires lol

you hook it into the wires coming from your keyswitch if you still have a key i think its black and white maybe then the other wire just goes to a ground on your frame thats what I did and mine works.

Bring it over. I have a book and I redid my wiring so I have no key now with just on off switch. We could figure it out.

Hey, sounds like a plan thats awsome that you have a book. I got a set of fenders that had a tether mounted kinda half ass in it so i figured id give it a try. I dont have a key switch on my quad already. Im just not the best with wires. I also have a set of lights id like to get hooked up, let me know if youd be interested in giving me a hand with those also. Thanks again Ill check out the holeshots also, I have turf tamers on douglas rims on mine right now so im trying to get rid of them.

Did you run it right to your power wire from the coil. That makes 100% sence now that you say that. You just hook the power to the coil and ground the other. Thanks alot man.

Could someone do a Step by Step on this or explain in more detail...The wires coming from my switch are not coloured :S

cody..i pulled my tether off the other day to mail it out to mach158..

mine was wired into the old wires for the ignition key.. if i remember right its a black wire, and ablack wire with a white line, solder or crimp the wides on thoughts to that were going to the key, if your wire is still there hiding under the hood like mine, than mount your tether..

to make sure it works right.. start your quad .. let it warm up.. take it for a ride and at any random rpm pull the tether to make sure it shuts off.. or rev it in the garage and pull it

My tether has been hooked up two days after I posted this thread. Check my sig out I mounted it in my front fender. Looks pretty sick i think. But thanks for your time 4cfed.
