I have a blaster with a stock swingarm and im wanting to extend it, but i dont want to put alot of money into it. anybody know how i could extend it myself?

the search is at the top of the home screen........

But like mentioned try member YB200..

Another option is to get a hold of the swingarm shop.....

Either way you are looking around 250.00

Also welcome to the site........

If you have fab skills, chop saw, hole saw, and a welder, build your own from scratch? Will have less than $150 in it and this is with a new round carrier

im lpretty good at fabbin, and the blaster swingarm looks to be alot easier that some of the bikes ive done. theres a nice straight stretch of area in front of the shock mount. cut it there and add what ever addition you want and slug it, weld it back together and move the shock mount in relation to where you get the hiegth you want.im not sure of the geometry for the shock placement. but the act of stretching the swing is pretty simple. whenevr ive done them in the past, ive made a jig to hold everything in place and straight till its welded up.you could pick up a stock swing pretty cheap and give it a try.that way you dont hack up ur own. but its a great learning exper and well worth saving the 2 bills an aftermarket would run ya.but if the fabbin isnt your deal, yb200 was mentioned on here as a good source.
