My daughter's lt runs awsome but hard as hell to start up first time....i heard it was prod a crank seal sucking air an not fuel any ideas....bit it runs so awsome after it starts..ideals great great throtal response ect....

I learned on one... great little bikes... super tough! Follows the bigger ones most places.

Does it start easy after it's been running or is it still hard to start? First thing they tell ya to do with LT80's is clean the carb really well. All the jets, little holes, vents, choke & such. Also, if it's been sitting for a long time, the petcock & float valve can let fuel seep into the case. Plug will be very wet. I bought 1 where the whole tank of oil had drained through the pump and filled the case up to the carb :( The petcock should be on "prime" to start since it needs vacuum from the motor running to run on the "run" position.

I've kept my LT80's running for years with help from that site & members there like "LT80".
