Stud length with aluminum wheels

Hello all,

I just introduced myself Sunday so this is my first post. I searched for the answer but couldn't find it, sorry if I'm asking something that has already been covered here.
I may have a chance to get some aluminum wheels at a good price. However, I was looking at my wheel studs. They seem to be just the right length with the thinner steel wheels. Will they be long enough with thicker aluminum wheels?

Thanks,
Danny

you mean so the studs screws dont hit the inside of the rim?

if so i highly doubt the rims will make a difference as long as you get rims that are relativly the same size as the stock ones, thats my logic but if you want an exact answer i would wait til jabes dirtyblaster oldfartsatv or randelator look at this.

Glade you asked that.Im thinking that you have wheel spacers and they didnt put new studs in.How long do they need to be?Mine is out about 2 inchs i think

i think hes refering to .195 rims vs. .125 rims, the .195 arent very thick, they are just thick enough to be considered heavyduty and great for racing
