the other day i let a friend of mine ride my quad, and long story short he blew it up, the piston seized in the cylinder i have the top end completly apart but i cant get the wrist pin out of the piston i think when it siezed it bent, any tips to get it out?

Use a piston wrist pin puller.

Or make your own. A deep well 1/2" drive socket, a piece of all thread and a piece of tubing over the all thread the correct size of the wrist pin will pull the pin out and into the deep well socket.

whoa whoa whoa!

Now you're trying to get the guy to screw up a rod, thrust bearing, case bearing, case mating surfaces, or all of them!

You have to remove a stuck wrist pin without banging on the rest of the engine. Use that same socket which fits the wrist pin, a piece of all thread and a deep well socket to extract the pin inside the deep well socket.

oops sry didnt even think about the crank. crank was hosed on the motor we did that to. a case half is cracked too. its pretty much a parts motor

thanks for the advice guys i got it, it was still pivoting on the crank it just took some wd40 a hammer a deep ten mm socket and some patince the crank dosent look bent so im fine.
