Stroker cranks = how many cc's

just calculate it out

[.5 x bore(in mm)]^2 x 3.14 x stoke (stock is 57mm, +3 is 60mm, +4 is 61mm)

now multiply by 1000 and that's your new displacement

strokers don't actually add that much to the cc's but you get better torque. exactly how much depends on what else you do at the same time. the best option is to have it ported at the same time to optimize the port timing

Hell Ya! That's what I'm talking about. I guess my next question is if someone has a ballpark figure on the torque gains. I would think most guys would port the engine when they install a stroked crank so some dyno numbers should be out there somewhere. Anyway, its not a big deal. Its gonna run butter stroked and for the money I think its a good deal. What's the best crank out there? Just heard a horror story about Wiesco cranks."ELBOWS UP"

wiseco doesn't make a stroker, its hard to beat the vito's stroker for the money and quality.. i think there's only one member here that's broken one, but i believe that they replaced it

Ok, I'll keep that vitos crank in mind. I know you have to trench case for a +4 but is there anything scary about the +4 cranks? I can get trenching for free. I have friends in low places. lol. If a little is good, alot isnt always better. If machine work is the only setback to a +4 crank that's ok.
