What are the pros and cons of a roundhouse swingarm vs stock? Looking at gettng a new swinger and carrier and was just curious

Once you have a roundhouse swingarm, you will never ever want a stock style swingarm. If you're going to spend more than $100 on a swingarm, step up and buy a roundhouse swingarm. If your neighbor needs a swingarm, sell him your stock style swingarm. If you need to drive your car up on ramps to change the oil and you can only find 1 ramp, use your stock style swingarm for the other ramp. If you lock yourself out of your house, use your stock style swingarm to break a window. Keep your stock style swingarm in your boat as a spare anchor.

The roundhouse swingarm is HOT, and the stock style swingarm is NOT! lol
Its easier to adjust the chain on a roundhouse swingarm!

You forgot to mention that they make GREAT Christmas gifts.

So just chain adjustment basically? Im not sure whats all needed but switching over to roundhouse looks a pricey for just chain adjustment.

I also got a 35mm Twin Row Carrier. This carrier has Twin Row Bearings and a grease fitting.
But I also never had a problem with the stock singel row beering carrier after I added a grease fitting.

My roundhouse carrier was RECONDITIONED with new Twin Row Bearings and dust seals for $99 from http://www.jjandaracing.com/

I added a grease zerk in mine over the winter. I was in a hurry last weekend and forgot to tighten my bearing carrier bolts and ending up tweaking it pretty bad. Now my axle sits crooked.
Is there anything else needed besides the swinger and roundhouse carrier to convert?

Just so you know what all you need, in addition to the carrier with bearings, seals, and spacer tube, you need the brake caliper mounting plate, the giant snap ring, the special aluminum bushing that goes over the peg on the swingarm, and if you have hydraulic brakes, there are 2 aluminum spacer bushings for where the caliper mounts to the plate.

The brake caliper mounting plate is different depending on if you have a cable caliper or a hydraulic caliper. Here's a pic of the parts for a hydraulic caliper.
