What would be a good carb to run for a direct swapout with the stock one? Wanting a little easier setup to work with..Its for an 01 Blaster..Thanks Kurt

i upgraded to a 34mm keihin carb, but that's probably a little bigger than you want, i'm still workin out all the stupid bugs, gotta finish rebuilding my motor then rejet, yet again
can you get the carb into the airbox boot? i got a 34mm off a sled and tried puttin it on, but can't for the life of me get it into that stinkin piece of rubber. so i tried it without the airbox, just to see how/if it would run, and she wouldn't fire. but all i did to remove tors was unplug the junk out the little box on top of the stock carb, so idk if that will do it.
you need to disconect the wires to the unit under the hood as well. that may be why its not firing. also yu can get a air box tube adaptor from Vito's and im sure there are a few other palces that sell them. did you get a new intake boot too?

i thought my blaster was stock when i bought it, but evidently someone had done something to it, b/c the 34mm carb fits in the boot goin into the reeds. the boot says 34x something or other on it. but still had the stock carb and everything, so idk why it would have a 34mm boot on it, but i'm glad it does cause that means i don't have to buy one lol.

i have an 04, it doesnt have the little box for the tors, i guess it's contained in the cdi? idk. not sure what to do...

ah, that thing from vito's is just a chunk if aluminum pipe and a fernco, i'll buy that at lowes, lol
