can u take the box thing off the top of the stock carb and what is it for and what was the 2 wires that came out of it for please let me know thanks??

its called a T.O.R.S. (throttle override system). its incase your throttle sticks wide open inside the carb i.e. slide sticks. if it sees that the one si connected and the other one isnt it will shut oof the quad. its just a stupid saftey thing that causes more problems than its worth
so can i take it off.do i need anything todo it i see there is 2arms in there with cables can i bypass it and just take that all off
don't mean to interrupt, but what is the diameter of a stock 99 blaster carb? what are the advantages of a larger diameter carb?
i dont know for sure lol im guessing 28mm cause people talk about getting a 30,34,35 more fuel and air i suppose
Stock size is 26mm. There are TORS eliminater kits out there. But if your serious about keeping the bike and are looking for better performance, I would put a 30 mm on there.
thanks for the specs on carb but my question is can u take the tors box off ot top of carb and just use the cap and cable when i look at it it looks like u cant and i dont wanna get a tors block off when i can just get a new carb get what i mean
