there are vids of ktm 50s beatin yz80s and cr 80s on youtube, and running sideby side with a polaris 500 quad... there faster than you think.. there super light

Weighing in at 125lbs with 2 wheels and equal amount of power the ktm will smoke any stock blaster with = riders. They are way faster than you would think.

Maybe a PW80 or something. There is no way a stock Blaster will be even with a YZ80 or any other 80 race bike. I had a Stock Blaster and YZ80 at the same time years ago. The 80 was quite a bit quicker.

Yea, I have to agree. 100 lbs heavier and would still lose. Many times i have been at busco and seen yz with little kids on them kill larger quads as well as myself. Those KTM's are made for raceing stock and run like a bat out of hell. Anyone who beats a ktm or yz on a blaster needs to back that up with a vid or it is a fib or dream.

a short drag race, i would put money on the ktm. i had a kx65 and it had balls, but slow top speed, about 80kph. and stock blasters have pretty bad acceleration. but if someone heavy is on the 65 it probly wont pull them.

i love how these threads always turn into people arguing about it. your on a 200cc 2 stroke machine. a stock blaster is slow. if you have to race a bike with a weedeater motor on it to feel good about yourself, and still loose, then thats pretty sad..

when we talk about banshee's and 400ex's and such beating blasters, everyone complains and throws the "handicap" card saying that they have a ton 3'e3more cc's then the blaster. but then we all want to beat something with less than 1/3'd the cc's and still cant
