steering stem wigglin??

my steering stem wiggles all around a little, there is like a small space in the holder thing(right infront of the gas tank(idk wat its called)), is this bad or is it normal

i just noticed it last nite while adjusting my rear shock

dude im having the same problem its get so annoying, i noticed it the other day when i was riding

there is 2 small rubber bushings in side of the steering stem clamp they are bad, im not sure if you can get just the bushings or if its a whole new clamp!! I just look around for a piece of rubber that will work ,and make my own and ever since its been fine with no play

will it hurt it if it wiggles just a little, if it aint gonna hurt it i wont mess with it case it dosent bother me that much

it will eventually wear out the steering stem clamp and the wiggling will get worse!

lol.. just wondering..??? how did u notice the steering when you were workin on ur rear shock =))

You can buy the rubbers from your local yamaha shop and it'll run you about $4 for both, i too had too replace mine.

i grabbed ahold of the bars to get on to see what my sag was and when i grabed ahold i noticed they moved, i know it seems weird but i tend to notice a lot of little stuff when working on sumthing else
