Hello everyone I live near Pittsburgh. I am in Greensburg PA and I currently have a XR650L (only 4 stroke I have EVER owned-after KX80-125 and CR 500) but I am looking into getting a Blaster or other 2 stroke sport quad-I am 5'9" 170lbs and I think a 2 stroke sport quad would be great for me....and 'sides I love the smell of 2 cycle oil and the power with little displacement ( I have a fleet of Lawn boys, chain saws and weedeater all mixers !!

I hope to find a decent Blaster locally to build upon and ride.

As far as other 2 stroke sport quads go-what is a good list of other brands makes that make 2 stroke quads that may compete with/better the Blaster for the money? Not looking to break the bank just get out and ride with the Western PA folks again and enjoy a 2 stroke sport quad.

Look forward to getting a Blaster and meeting folks on here though.

welcome bro..im from just south of washington pa..

not far from you at all..we played ball vs steel city..

real quick as far as mods..

check the d.i.y. section ( so it yourself ) theres a few things you can pick up.
uumm.. rjatv for places to buy stuff
project blaster is in Wellsburg, WV which is not far from us.. like an hour or so.

check e-bay for parts too.. yb and others offer extended swings.
want a port/polish or to have something built.. flotek.. and its not far from you either.. there are other builders.. but not as close..

that will get you started..

Awesome. I thanks for the tips and advice on parts etc-looking for a good blaster right now.

I have a few places I rode my XR a few great places out my way and towards Uniontown-a big gravel pit and coke dump and tons of trails connecting them (its in Grindstone). We will definitely have to get out and ride.

BTW...is that your 240 in your avatar? I had a SR20DET in my 200 SX SE-R-love boosted SR20. IS yours swaped?

welcome to the site, and always good to see more pa bro's on here, especially this close, johnstown here, have ridden to ligonier, gonna have to look at a topo map and see if greensburgh is do-able???

I wonder if you reached Ligonier I could join from the Uniontown/Yough lake area-I know trails go through there...hmmmm
