My stock 2002 blasty just quit one day and I tried to start it and it wouldnt start. The next day I went out to start it and it started for a second and it died. Then I took the carb off an noticed exhaust smoke came out of the carb and intake. What could've caused this?

Maybe a air leak, if your getting trany fluid in engine she will smoke and not run well if at all. Holeshotman has leak down testers for a good price, check him out.
Yea now I know where the reed cage is after seeing the pics of that one guys on here. I seen it before but I didnt think that was it.
What kind of screwdriver do I need to use to take these freakin reeds out. I tried two different sizes and press down really hard and it still slips and starts to strip it out.
So should I put locktite on them when I put them back in. Or does it really matter if I do or not.
yea def. put it on if that little screw vibrates out and goes into ur motor hell WILL break loose on your topend
Do I only need one gasket between the reed cage and the motor? Or do I need another between the reed cage and the boot?
