Anyone have any left over std size piston laying around that they would care to donate? I picked up an 02 blaster last night and the guy had completely blown out the entire exhaust half of the piston. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cylinder walls look okay...need a hone but that's about all. Looks like it stopped as soon as it blew.
Will do. Is that sealed off from the other parts of the cases? Or is there any way the metal pieces could've gotten into the tranny?
in order for it to get into the tranny you would have bigger issues than a piston. theres a separate chamber for the crank case and trans
Best getting a new std. piston. Thing with pistons is it cylinder wall clearance is different frm a new one and someone that has one may have one that is .002 to large... or something like that.
That is a very good point. What's the best place to buy a piston? Doesn't have to be forged since ken will be going through the motor shortly. Just want something to beat around on a little first.
