ok so i was riding all day today going threw mud and water and when i was in 6th riding for like 10 seconds it started to die and i couldnt get a throttle response just before that i went threw a huge puddle fast so idk if to much water got in the engine because it seems to ride fine now so should i be good or am i going to have problems.

if its fine now then ya dont trip...maybe clean out ur carb and air filter and then jus see how it reacts and go from there...

correct me if im wrong someone, but geting some water in a 2 stroke is alot less worse than geting it in a 4 stroke right? cuz if it went into a 2 stroke it would go down under the crank and not into the cylinder so you wouldnt be compressing water which is alot harder than air, so you wouldnt bend a rod. but a 4 stroke it would go in through the valve into the cylinding with no way to drain down then your sh*ts done.

right? no? i have no idea, just a theory of mine i just through up right now lol.

well, i don't know man....the mixture does travel directly into the cylinder during the intake stroke along w/ the mix coming up through the transfer ports......

2004, i'd say you should just drain any liquids in the airbox. after a few minutes, she should have dried up any liquids anyway.
you're probably safe, but i will say that my wheeler had the exact same symptoms and it turned out that the piston skirt had gotten all eaten up.....don't wanna scare you into being too paranoid though, it's pretty unlikely.
