I want to gear my Blaster for top speed. That being said, what is the biggest front sprocket and smallest rear sprocket available?

i run 18" goldspeeds and grass track and enduro 13/40 gearing is killing me on the straights so what differance would 13/38 gearing and 14/40 gearing i only want a little more speed on grass track

I don't want to do any modification... So would the next sizes (14T Front and 39T Rear) not require modification?

Im usually not a search nazi. Im not. Ive personally answered these questions many times in the last week or 2. Ive also posted the link to my blaster gearing calculator many times. If you searched youd have found it.

But Ill be nice and post it again.

Use that to determine where you want your top speed based on the stock specs. You also cant run a 15t front without modification to the case itself. And you will be hard pressed to find anything less than a 37 rear also.

With a 300 foot drag race why would you? I'm using a 14/42 and it yanks my ass all the way to the end. Out of 8 races I've won 5 total came in third twice and 4 once this year keeping it all the same.....

isn't 14/42 about pointless since stock is 13/40, and in the end they are the same, haha

Kinda with what Luni said... I'd prefer no modification. So it looks like 14T is my biggest possible no-mod front sprocket. How about rear sprocket? How small can I go? Would a really small rear sprocket even need modifocation? And once I determine my smallest possible rear, where can I get it?

32 is too low in the rear unless you have some crazy power. That puts you at a top speed of 75mph. Most blasters dont have the power to pull 75mph.

For you, with a 240 kit if its ported, or even a stock jug with a +4 crank, it could make some sense. For most of us, that doesnt at all.
