X(X(ok today me and my dad attacked my axel to get the banshee one on, well we got the hubs and locknuts off, but now the freakin sprocket and hub wont come off, how do you do this, is there a special tool or technique to do this?, aslo, is there any other tool we need to get it the rest of the way off?, we made our own puller and are heating the crap out of the sprocket hub to get it off, is there anything else we should do?

it prolly doesn't wanna come out cause the collar is prolly stuck on there, i would put a hub back on put the Castor back on and put a socket on that and hit it with a hammer see if that helps.

I just ordered an All Balls Rear Axle Bearings Kit off of RockyMountainATV for like $25.

found one of them on ebay for 25 shipped. i'm gonna get it, tomorrow we will super heat it, them try to get it off again, if not, then we will do what ron said, rep to all you guys for the help, thanx.

I just removed the axle nuts, and what not, removed the carrier from the swingarm got a 2x4 and just smashed it till it came out ahaha. Worked for me.

probly the easiest way.

on my old shee axle the bearings were wasted, and the bearings were like welded in there....when we heated it up, well we basically cut the carrier off. it was that bad....all the heat ruined the axle. it ballooned in size. i was gonna sell it to somebody and they said it wouldnt go in their carrier, so.....370 gave him one. i then trashed that axle....

we heated it cherry red this mornin and made a stronger puller out of angle iron and tried again, if we kept it cherry red it came slowly, the thing was is it was rusted on, i hope the brake hub comes off easier!, this is a fun project, i am gonna see what maxim powersports in merriville has for bearings and if they don't have any for a good price, i'm gonna get some all balls bearings off ebay, might try to pull the axel and brake hub tonight.
