Sounds Like it's about to BLOW!!!Please Help

Ok I have a 99 Blaster with the top end just rebuilt about 5 hours on the rebuild. So when I start it, it will rev the piss out of the motor and will not come down I have to E-STOP it. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

it could be a crap load of things...check your float bowl/needle...

TORS.. or slide on the carb, and if not either of them check for air leaks.

how do I check for air leaks.

Take a can of carb cleaner and with the motor running, spray around (not in) the carb, intake, head, cylinder, basically any seam or seal, and if the motor speed increases when spraying in a certain area, you have found an air leak.

Hey thanks Blasterfreak first rep point given to 01blasterdude. Ok guys thanks for all the help I checked for air leaks today found none. I'm going to take the carb off tommorrow and clean it and check the needle out. the TORS has been taken off and it must only rev to the moon when it hot because I was able to start it and it didn't rev out of control.??????
