hey guys so tomorrow im getting my carb in and is there anything i should do or look for before installing ? or any tips ?also anything i should do before trying to start it ? also im gonna leave the air box lid off , can i still go mudding or in water with the lid off?? thanks I:I

if water gets in the engine that is bad news bears, so answer, dont go deep... (thats what she said, but not to sheeblast cause he couldnt reach anyway lol) back on track... check what you have for jets in there, were you the one getting the 28mm
ok got u dont go in to deep water and mudding is fine . right ? n yea i got the 28mm . imma check what jets are in it and start doing the plug chops
yeah you just gotta be careful with the water, even shallow stuff can get in there if you hit the puddles hard enough (of course for me that wrecks or something every time i get it out, that's a given lol)

i got a new stock filter . whats a outerwear ? also do i have to tune the carb in anyway before trying to start ?
i was plowing through stuff with mine, the whole bike was covered top to bottom in mud, like i said it had just splashed in there, the filter was pretty dirty, but didn't find anything in the intake
i do liberally oil the piss out of my filters though....

put em in a plastic bag with whatever air filter oil ou buy, then squeeze the oil in after that wring out the excess. buy stuff made for foam filters. and splashing in puddles can get in your engine with the lid off. personal expirience and a full top and bottom rebuild in progress because of it. I was hitting the puddles at like thirty though.
go to your dealership and get some foam airfilter oil and there will be instructions on the back. you will also need the sealant for the bottom of the filter where it meats up to the intake it is thick like vasoline.
