Last night I swapped frames, went to a 03+ frame. The previous owner put on a flat slide carb with K&N filter. There is an aluminum bracket between the filter and carb which is supposed to bolt to something. On the old frame, someone welded a mount onto the frame. Was there something else that came with the filter for mounting that I am missing?
I also have WORKS frame guards. The bolt on the left side guard is an allen bolt with a tapered head. The bolt looks like its been broke off. On the old frame, it looks like someone tapped into the back side of the upper chain roller. Do I have to do the same with the new frame? :-/
I have alot of bolts to replace. all the bolts the hold the plastics to the frame were replaced with cheap self taping bolts. If anyone knows the sizes, please post. Also need to know what thread the bottom of the steering stem is. That needs to be ran over with a die and need a new nut for that.
