Smoke coming out of exhaust when stoped

Hi guys im new to the forums i have a 1990 yamaha blaster runs good im preaty sure i might be running a little to rich on the oil im putting 4oz to the gallon but anyways ill have some smoke come out of the exhaust when i shut it off and it sputters when riding ive replaced the spark plug it ran fine then did it again am i running to rich? help?I:I

where exactly is the smoke coming from ?, i use 32 liters of petrol to 1 liter of oil, im not sure how much that is in oz and gallon ?

Your mixture sounds right. Now have changed anything before this happened? Let's start with that first and go from there.. have you changed oil too?

my guess is that its the wisps you see on the end pipe after a strong slightly rich run. after you shut it off or it seriously smoking?yes 32L for every 1L curry or 4oz for every 1G. mabey your jets need a good cleaning my blaster did that once sputtered like hell in 2-3 and only really pulled in 4th and above but when I cleaned them out found globs of gunk put them back in and ran awesome and crisp

its coming from the end of the pipe when I shut it off and im just using 2 stroke motor oil

A quick search tell me that Quicksilver is a marine oil, prove to me that I may be wrong.

That's what I found also, other than they are or have came out with ATV oil, didn't read but bet it's for 4s

well yea from the end pipe. but is it light and faint wisps or dose it smell really funny and is there a lot when it shuts off....BTW you have to use premix 2stroke oil if the oilinjection is taken off if not maxima 2stroke injector oil is needed in your bike.

is it running ok ?, ive seen this on loads of 2 strokes and there's nothing wrong with them.
