I just bought this blaster and have been fixing a few things today I noticed when I first started my blaster and it was idleing that smoke was coming from the exhaust manifold, is this common or do I have a leak? I have a FMF powercore 2 exhaust. If this is a leak anyone know where I can get a gasket and what kind it takes????

It could be that you need a new gasket there.

The gasket would be the standard type that is for a stock replacement.

several places to get them, local motorcycle / atv deal, that deals with Yamaha, e-bay, and so on.

Thanks Sporty for all your help!!!! Carb clean did the trick from my last issue THANKS!!!!!! This is a Fatty pipe and powercore 2 silencer does this take original gasket?

Yes, takes a regular gasket, that gasket fits into the recessed round whole on the cylinder head exhaust port. the flange on the fmf fatty, is more or less the same size as a stock flange.

glad the tip on the car worked out 4 you.

The smoke is actually coming from where the fatty pipe connects. the exhaust gasket is fine is this normal I also can feel a little exhaust where the fatty pipe connects to the silencer is that normal?
