I'm going to put a new crank in my blaster and was thinking about getting a Vitos +3. You can see in my sig all the mods I already have. Its ported to match the stock stroke. What would happen if I were to run the +3 without having it ported to match ? Also, I read that that crank still needs some work to fit. Is this true?

You'll want to get your cylinder ported to match the extra stroke otherwise you won't get the full advantage of the stroker crank. The only work that maybe required to make the crank fit is the top of the cases may need to be ground a little to make sure the rod will clear during its rotation, nothing major and nothing you couldn't do yourself.

maybe 1 more hp, with it ported for the crank, like 4hp. its should really be ported. My numbers are just a wild guess

Yeah I believe it will affect your port timing. I would talk to your engine builder to find out exactly what you need to do.

yeah go for it, and as they've said above deff get your cyl ported to match the new stroke

most +3 mm's don't req. work to fit in, but every once in a while i hear people saying they had to grind away at the top of the case, i don't have 1st hand experience with the +3's for i went immediately for the +4 hotrod.. sorry
