I've been trying to figure out what size mx bike I should get. I can either get a kx100 or cr125. They are both the same price and have both been rebuilt. I'm just not sure if I'm tall enough to comfortably ride a 125. I can ride a kdx 220, but not completely comfortably, and a 125 is even taller than that. I'm 5'6" and weigh around 110 lbs. I am a very experienced rider. I'm leaning towards the 100 right now, but let me know what you guys think.

yeah it's a bit of a stretch for you to ride a 125... i'm 5'10" and i still don't sit on a 125 flat footed. but i am fairly comfortable on it. if i were you i'd get the 100 for now then when you're ready move up.

If you can get a CR Jump on it because they apparently have the best frame out there and from what everyone says about them that awesome frame gives it the best handling out of any bike out there. So that'll help you out as you get used to the bike.

Be careful if it's a 96-00 CR125 because when theve been abused or ridden a lot the carbs can tend to be eratic in your power deliverly. There a bit like blasters when they run good they absolutely fly but when there under the weather they run so so. If your worried about height wear a heavy sturdy boot lean forward and twist that throttel hard. I'm 5'10 and the only time I sit flat footed is when I'm wearing my thor MX1 boots on my KX125.And I weigh 190 and to me it will charge forward but it wont wheelie on me. So a smaller rider might hav a harder time with it but if your intent on getting it just get it and dont ride it untill you get confortable use a milk crate that's what my dad does.I:II:II:I:DI:II:I

A punch a hammer and time on the back shock there are two locking rings. The top one is your lock nut and the bottom is your adjustment nut. Losen the top nut about a 1/2" from the bottom nut. Then knock the bottom nut counter-clock wise to lower the shock. Knock it clock wise to increase the height. Then once it's set to were you
Like it set hemlock nut then proceed to tap it tight... There is a vid on YouTube that explains it better but this is just the overall basics of it. The technical term for this proceese is called setting your race sag.
