Should i cover my quad

Should i cover my quad with a cover i keep it outside but its under a deck will it hurt the quad not covering it.

cover it. but make sure before you cover it that the quad is dry

you should also make sure the cover is kept down by wrapping the tarp under the tires or by putting rocks and it.

i would leave it loose around the bottom, or not the whole way to the ground, to avoid condensation

i said that to keep rotents from making a nest in there.
it would be best to uncover it like once a week to check up on it.

It's rodents. And a tarp won't stop mice, they get in everything.

Keep it covered just to keep the rain off it. Water will make your cables go to sh*t in a hurry. Ask me how I know lol.

If you want to keep mice and other critters out, use moth balls. They don't like the smell and will stay away from it.

or get a cat and put the cats bed under there lol

It should be good with just a cover and if any rats or something gets in their i have two dogs to take care of that lol

Covering it will not keep the cables from rusting either. The moisture from the ground will do its part in rusting. I keep mine in a garage that gets very damp during heavy rains and the axle, shocks, and pipe have rusted because of it. Don't get me wrong though...covering it helps. Put a tarp down and then park your quad on top of it. Fold the sides up and then cover it.
