hey guys this should be one of my last please help me out posts. i feel like iv been flooding you guys with questions lately. im about 5'8'' and 150 and im trying to adjust my shocks to smoth out the trails a little bit. would i go softer or firmer on the shocks and which direction would i turn the rears for softer firmer. also if i firm my rear shock can i get added ground clearance?

the most effective way to add ground clearance is bigger tires, a 400ex or trx250r shock are great for the back. banshee shocks are a good cheap upgrade for the front, otherwise you can usually get works shocks cheap on ebay

well thats good to know i appretiate the quick reply. but if im trying to smooth the trails a bit cuz right now i feel every bump and i was told to tighten my shocks but that seems backwards. would i want softer for trails?

the stock shocks on a blaster suck, you'd be better off putting in solid steel tubing in its place lol. if you're getting that beat up, i'd invest in some better shocks

alright ill defiently keep that in mind. i mean iv only had my blasty for about 2 weeks so its defiently in the future its just being sore and stiff all the times getting a little old

yep softer and it wont be as bad but the stock shocks really suck get some good quality shocks and u wont even know half those bumps are there

hi
I went to the softest setting on mine (on the front) i did improve a bit not much but a bit avent touched the back yet
Also check you tire pressure it REALY makes a difference.

Bye
